A sense of freedom
Traveling for the first time in 2021 after a looooong torturing period stuck in Athens was the perfect gift anyone could ask for. Even if our short trip was made for a wedding, this time don't expect to see any wedding photos in this post!
We were called for a last-minute wedding on Paros island at the end of May and we took the chance to feel a little like we were on summer vacation. We got up early to catch the morning ship on Saturday and we embarked for lovely Parikia, the island's capital. We went scouting for cool places to shoot during the weekend, we unwinded on the beach, and we enjoyed some of the popular Aegean sunsets just before cocktail hour. Don't get us wrong, on the wedding day we were dedicated fully to our bride and groom who got married at the famous Panaghia Ekatontapyliani (Virgin of the 100 gates) church and had an intimate dinner party afterwards in Alyki village, by the sea.
Seeing that too many celebrities are choosing the Greek Islands for their "me time", we would be fools not to recommend spending at least a long weekend in our beautiful country and its spectacular beaches.
